ParentSquare
ParentSquare is Brockton Public Schools' new two-way communications platform that provides instant translations in 100+ languages.
Beginning with the summer before the 26-27 school year, BPS will be using ParentSquare for school-to-family outreach like newsletters, general announcements, snow day notifications, emergency alerts and more! ParentSquare also serves as BPS' first-ever district-sponsored two-way communication tool between families and their schools.
While we ask for your patience as we roll this out districtwide, BPS is working toward a goal of ensuring that ParentSquare serves as an effective and unified tool for staying informed about your child's school and having a two-way line of communication with your child's teachers!
While it is not required, we highly suggest all parents/caregivers:
1) download the ParentSquare app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store, and
2) register your ParentSquare account with the email address that is connected to your student through the Aspen Parent Portal.
What is ParentSquare?

Receive messages including newsletters from your child's school and classroom(s) via email, text, or app notification in your preferred language.

You choose how often to receive notifications: Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6 p.m.

You Choose How Often You Receive Notications
Once you have registered your account, you can adjust your notification settings to determine which communication methods you prefer – email, text, or mobile app – and how often you would like to receive these notifications.
You have three options:

Instant: Receive all messages instantly

Digest: Receive all messages together in one daily communication around 6:00 PM*

Off: No notifications are sent.* You can check the app for notifications at your leisure.
*Regardless of your notification settings, you will continue to receive emergency notifications instantly. This will include snow cancellation messages.
