In the weeks leading up to Veterans Day, students and staff at West, let by Mr. Little, collected over $500 in loose change to donate to the organization Disabled American Veterans (DAV). DAV advocates for servicemen and women and helps to ensure they make full use of their service-related benefits. In an expression of gratitude for the West community's generosity, DAV gave West two new American flags and a banner commemorating their efforts for the to display proudly!
