Nearly Half of PROMISE's Inaugural Graduating Class Earns Adams Scholarship

A dozen members PROMISE College & Career Academy's Class of 2026, representing nearly half of the school's very first graduating class, were recognized earlier this month with the prestigious John & Abigail Adams Scholarship.

The Adams Scholarship is awarded to students who achieve the highest-possible score on at least one MCAS subject test while performing well on the remaining subjects as well. Students also must be in the top 25% of MCAS test takers in their school district.

Through the Adams Scholarship, students earn a tuition credit toward up to eight semesters of postsecondary education at dozens of Massachusetts state colleges and universities.

PROMISE students had their achievement recognized with an intimate breakfast ceremony.
