The BROCKTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall receive sealed bids for the furnishing of School Bus Transportation until April 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at which time they shall be publicly opened and read in the NISL Room, Crosby Administration Building, 43 Crescent Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
The bid requires the furnishing of scheduled School Bus Transportation for all designated students of the BROCKTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS to include “Regular Transportation” and “Athletic and Extra-Curricular Activities” and “Special Education In District), ‘Special Education Out of District” and “Homeless” Transportation for a period of three (3) years plus two individual option years, beginning July 1, 2026. The successful bidder(s) shall be required to furnish all services necessary and required, but not necessarily limited to the following in general: Drivers, Operation, Vehicle Maintenance, Supervision, Inspection, and conformance to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Public Utilities, the Brockton Public Schools and the City of Brockton.
The conditions of employment and minimum state wage rates, as set forth by the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, apply in the execution of the work under this contract (M.G.L. C.71 MS.7A).
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference shall be held for all interested bidders, on March 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brockton Public Schools, School Transportation Building, 433 Forest Avenue, Brockton, MA. 02301. Bidders are encouraged to attend.
Specifications and Bid Forms may be obtained electronically by emailing Richard Labrie, at [email protected] on or after 11:00 a.m. on March 16, 2026.
The award of contracts by the Brockton School Committee for any item(s) listed herein, including contracts beyond three years, is contingent upon appropriate funding and approval by the Brockton City Council.
The Brockton School Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, in part or as a whole, at its sole discretion. The decision of the School Committee shall be final and binding on all bidders without recourse.
