March means that outstanding student art is on display at the Brockton Public Library as part of the annual Art Smart Exhibition and Contest. In all, 25 student pieces were on display as part of the exhibition, which is one of several springtime celebrations of extraordinary student artwork that you'll find at Brockton High. The first place winner in this year's contest, Saulo Santiago, told the Enterprise how his artwork was inspired by his aspiration to recover from an injury suffered on the football field so that he could be ready to play volleyball this spring.
