Brockton High School’s Business & Marketing Program partnered with Dress For Success Boston to host Confidence Day: Slay the Interview on Friday, June 12.
More than 200 young women in grades 9-11 attended the event, which focused on the power of a first impression and was designed to provide students with the confidence and skills needed to truly "Slay the Interview" as they start looking ahead to job interviews and launching careers after high school.
Throughout the day, students participated in engaging workshops led by community and corporate partners, including:
- Financial Literacy with Citizens Bank
- Resume Reviews with Curate Partners
- Mock Interviews with Morgan Stanley
- Personal Branding and Professional Development sessions
- And much more!
Students left feeling inspired, empowered and prepared to make a lasting impression in future interviews, internships, and career opportunities.
And what better way to prepare for success than by being dressed for it?
Dress for Success Boston brought its Mobile Boutique to the Shaws Center, where the event was held, and created a pop-up shopping experience where students selected professional clothing and accessories at no cost. Every student had the opportunity to build confidence through both preparation and presentation.
