Ashfield Middle School recently welcomed representatives from the U.S. Naval Academy for a special STEM-focused visit, giving seventh grade students the chance to explore programming robots. Students' competed to see whose robot could navigate a course in the shape of the Naval Academy's "N" the fastest, with the winners earning gift cards.
The Naval Academy also left behind gift bags for Ashfield's seventh grade teachers and two robots like the ones the students used to support after-school and STEM programming!
