Coordinated Family & Community Engagement

Brockton Coordinated Family & Community Engagement (CFCE) offers early childhood resources for families with young children, 0-6 years old. Together, we help families find access to comprehensive services and supports.

Commonwealth Preschool Partnerships Initiative (CPPI) aims to provide 3- and 4-year-olds equitable access to high quality preschool across public and community-based programs. The priority areas include expansion of affordable preschool, strengthening aligned curriculum, and equitable access to special education and inclusion.

The ParentChild+ Program works with parents/grandparents/guardians and their young children - ages 16-36 months during home visits to help families prepare their children for school success.

An Early Learning Specialist, who lives or has worked in the neighborhood and shares a language and cultural background with the family, arrives at their front door bearing books and educational toys. Our specialists model engaging and educational activities for parents and children together, and then support parents as they take on the role of their children’s first teachers. The visits are a half-hour and occur twice a week over 23 weeks. Over the course of the program, families share a love of learning and experience success that will last a lifetime and will change their lives.
