The Brockton Public Schools are committed to fostering an environment that makes all of our families feel welcome and included, regardless of their country of origin.

This page contains a variety of resources for families of immigrant origin, including important contacts and documents.

As a reminder, Brockton Public Schools will not inquire about a student or family's immigration status and will not share student information -- including place of birth -- with outside authorities. BPS will also refuse requests by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to enter school buildings without a judicial warrant.

Students will not be dismissed to anyone who parents/guardians have not authorized BPS to dismiss to, including law enforcement.

See below for documents meant to help you understand your rights, plan for emergencies and access legal aid. On the righthand side of this page is the Caregiver Authorization, which you can complete to authorize a trusted person to care for your child.
