BPS Guidance on Artificial Intelligence

Brockton Public Schools ensures that the use of artificial intelligence and digital tools complies with federal and state data privacy and security requirements, including FERPA, COPPA, and relevant Massachusetts regulations. The district employs data governance practices and maintains a formal vetting process for all instructional and operational technologies, including AI-enabled platforms. Tools are only approved following review through established data privacy agreements and procurement procedures designed to protect student information and ensure responsible data handling.
