Ending the 2020-2021 School Year

Dear BPS Families,

As we approach the final hours of the 2020-2021 school year, I want to thank you and your support networks for everything you did to keep your children engaged during this unimaginably difficult year. We could not have hoped for a better group of partners as we navigated the uncertainty of remote learning.

I hope you and your students have a wonderful, relaxing summer. If you’re looking for summer activities for your children, we still have openings in our enrichment programs. I encourage you to take a look at our diverse offerings by clicking here.

I’m thrilled to share that next year we will have new funds flowing into the district which will allow us to provide more extra learning time and enrichment programming than we’ve been able to offer in more than a decade. We will offer a variety of programs to combat pandemic-related learning loss and get our students up to speed. We’ll keep you up to date as those programs are announced. In the meantime, please enjoy your time off.

Sincerely,

Superintendent Thomas
