Multiplication Fluency for Grades 3-5

The Brockton Public Schools Elementary Math Department is constantly looking to support students, families and teachers by providing current, relevant and engaging resources. Before we left school in March, students in all grades have been busy learning math facts through a variety of strategies. Research has shown that memorization of facts alone does not equate to fluency and often does not result in long-term retention of facts. To continue practicing these strategies at home, math coaches compiled resources including videos* to explain the math strategy and games for students to play at home to practice their facts. We hope to continue to add resources to these folders, so please check back often.

Parents can play an important role supporting their child’s learning from home. In addition to the previously listed printable packets, the Brockton Public Schools provides numerous online offerings your child can access at home.

Students can access many of the resources that they use in their classrooms through the Clever Portal. Further login instructions are listed toward the bottom of this page.

Accessing Clever Apps from Home

1. Click here to go to Clever.
2. Enter in your username, which will look something like this: 123456@bpsma.org. A BPS username is the student’s 6-digit number plus @bpsma.org. Your student may also refer to it as their lunch number.
3. Enter in your password. The password that you enter to login to your computer at school. If you do not know it please email us at cleversupport@bpsma.org

Accessing Clever Apps from Home with a Clever Badge

1. Click here.

2. Scan your badge in front of the camera. If you do not have your badge, click login and follow the direction above starting at number 4, above. Please remember that your home computer will need to have a camera to use the badge.
