Dear BPS families,

The Brockton Public Schools is partnering with CVS to provide an opportunity for students to vaccinated against the flu. To minimize social contact at these events, we will do the following:

• We will only take appointments for students.
• We will use the CVS vaccine scheduler to book appointments.
• All information and consent will be completed online.
• Once confirmed, please show up to the clinic with confirmation and insurance information. A CVS pharmacist will provide the student a copy of the vaccine forms for your records.

Please note, CVS will bill your insurance for this flu shot; for many insurances, there will be no fee for the student to get a vaccine. If you do not have insurance of if there is a copay, you are responsible for the bill which would be paid to the CVS involved at the event.

The flu shot is now required for all children 6 months of age or older who attend Massachusetts child care, pre-school, kindergarten, K-12, and colleges and universities. Getting your flu shot is critically important this year as our community works to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Our drive-through clinic is a quick and efficient way to get the immunization. We encourage every BPS family to take advantage of this program.

If you believe your child has a medical and/or religious exemption, please call his/her school and request to speak to either the building principal or the school nurse.
