CFCE GOALS & PRIORITIES

Families are essential partners in education and care programs. The CFCE project in Brockton is continuing to build on a local infrastructure of supports and services across the city focusing on families and the programs designed to serve them.

Priorities of the grant are:

> Development of a system of high-quality, accurate and readily available information about early education and care programs and services;

> Implementation of a strength-based family education structure and early literacy activities;

> Development of an integrated and aligned network of parents and providers across multiple programs in Brockton;

> Coordinated resources to prepare all students, from birth through higher education to be lifelong learners and successful contributing citizens;

> Leadership opportunities for families and those interested in taking an active role in assessing and designing improvements to the education and care programs and policies.
