The Brockton Public School System recognizes the importance of conservation efforts in controlling operating costs and in preserving our natural resources.
There are two key elements to resource conservation
- Staff and student involvement in day-to-day conservation efforts
- Cost-effective management of facilities operations
Staff and student participation requires the organization of informational and educational programs aimed at developing positive day-to-day habits and practices in resource conservation.
The cost-effective management of facilities operations involves the efficient management and use of all buildings, the proper maintenance of these buildings, and the application of sound conservation practices and technologies.
