The Brockton School Committee sponsors a college scholarship program in collaboration with many private donors, local clubs and fraternal organizations, and business groups and companies that are administered by the Guidance Department. All scholarships awarded through Brockton Public Schools Guidance are done through a selection committee using a rubric.
The Brockton School Committee requires that published criteria be used in the awarding of honors and scholarships.
