LEADERS PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS ENTERING GRADE 9
The Community Schools will be running the SUMMER LEADERS program in partnership with the Old Colony YMCA. The LEADERS program is designed to help rising 9th graders develop the skills that will assist them to make a positive transition toward high school, to promote academic achievement, and to develop their leadership capacity, thus building their resiliency to engage in positive behaviors in their community.
Through LEADERS they will augment the protective factors of youth confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills as a way to increase their likelihood to succeed and decrease their likeliness to engage in negative behaviors.
SUMMER ACADEMIC SESSIONS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
The Summer Academic Sessions are intended to provide students in grades 6-12 the opportunity to earn credit for courses they did not pass during the 2019-2020 school year.
