Chartwells School Dining Services brings fresh ideas and innovative concepts to school dining. Chartwells currently manages over 575 public school districts. These districts range from one to hundreds of individual school locations. We serve approximately 2.6 million students in over 4,000 elementary, middle and high schools across the country. Our customers include kindergarten through twelfth grade students, school staff, administration, parents and community members. Most of the foodservice operations are governed by the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program, and therefore, strictly adhere to USDA meal planning guidelines. With over 30,000 associates, we are dedicated to providing our customers with the best school dining program possible.
Feeding healthy and delicious meals that also adhere to nutrition and safety guidelines has always been Chartwells' number one priority. Our programs are based on strong nutrition guidelines and principles, focused on culinary methods that result in healthy foods that are appealing to children; and emphasize the use of locally and seasonally grown fruits and vegetables.
