Students who demonstrate exceptional ability in their academic work are offered the opportunity to participate in a program of college level work by enrolling in advanced placement courses subject to the approval of the appropriate department head. Students enrolled in advanced placement courses are expected to take the Advanced Placement Achievement Test.
