The School Committee will establish, and budget for, support staff positions in the school system on the basis of need.
The recruitment and selection of candidates for such positions will be the responsibility of the principal, for building based positions and Superintendent for systemwide positions, who will confer with principals and other supervisory personnel, as appropriate, in making a selection.
All support staff vacancies will be made known to all support staff personnel.
