In addition, possession of a firearm will be reported to proper authorities for legal action. Possession of any dangerous weapon (real or simulated) in or on school property, at a school-sponsored or school-related event or activity or on any mode of transportation to or from the aforementioned places or events will result in office referral, parental notification, suspension, and a possible expulsion hearing. Examples of weapons include, but are not limited to, guns, knives, razors, switchblades, screwdrivers, chains, bricks, rocks, rope, etc.
