Join Us for Two Days of Special Olympics Spring School Day Games!

Brockton Public Schools' Special Olympics Spring School Day Games will take place over two days in 2026, with students in K-5 taking part on June 3, and students in grades 6-12 on May 28. Both events will be at Marciano Stadium at Brockton High School

BPS Families Invited to Informational Session on Adult Guardianship and other Court Resources

The primary focus of this informational session will be to learn about  guardianship of adults, with also some time to briefly discuss the other court resources and supports that the courthouse can offer.

BPS Middle & High School Drone Teams Earn First and Second in Regional Competition

Brockton's Middle School and High School drone teams won first and second, respectively, in the New England Regional Aerospace Robotics Competition on Saturday, May 9. Each team earned a berth in their respective National Championship rounds.

Downey School Closed May 1, 2026 Due to Water Main Break, Dismissal at 12:15 p.m.

The Downey School is Closed on May 1, 2026 due to a water main break. Students who walk or ride the bus to school will be sent to East Middle School and will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. Anyone who is able to pick their child up before 12 p.m. is asked to please do so by reporting to the auditorium entrance at East.

Brockton Public Schools to Conduct Spring Universal Social Emotional Learning Screening

BPS will be conducting voluntary social-emotional learning screenings for students in grades 3-12. BPS conducts this screening twice per year, in the fall and spring, to evaluate students' social-emotional wellbeing.
