☑ Activate your ParentSquare Account by visiting www.ParentSquare.com/SignIn. While you're already enrolled in alerts if we have your contact information, activating your account will allow you to message directly with your child's teachers.

☑ Learn more about how BPS is using ParentSquare by visiting www.bpsma.org/ParentSquare. If your contact information is missing or out of date, call the Parent Information & Registration Center at 508-580-7950 to have it corrected.

☑ Find your child's teachers and class schedules when they become available in the BPS Parent Portal, Infinite Campus. Please note that teacher assignments and class schedules typically are not available until late August ahead of the start of each school year. We will share information via ParentSquare and the BPS website once these details are available for families to access. For general guidance on how to use Infinite Campus, click here.

☑ If your child takes a bus, find updated bus routes as soon as they're available our transportation page. For students with disabilities who are eligible transportation as part of an Individualized Education Plan, please call the Transportation Department at 508-580-7004 for information about your child's van assignment and pickup time.

☑ Talk to your child about pedestrian safety if they are walking to school or if they are waiting at a bus stop. Explain to them the importance of crossing busy roads at crosswalks and remind them to wait until cars on both sides of the road come to a complete stop before crossing.

☑ BVLA Students: Pick up your laptop before the school year begins. We will share more information about pre-year laptop pickup soon. Brockton High School will utilize shared laptops for the 2026-27 school year, so students do not need to plan to pick up a device before the school year begins.

☑ Save important dates, including Open Houses, orientations, school-family conferences, early dismissal days and vacation days, in your phone’s calendar or on an electronic calendar. You may also subscribe to our calendar on bpsma.org to automatically import dates to your calendar.

☑ Subscribe to the district and school calendars by clicking here. You can subscribe to any school calendars you would like, as well as the districtwide calendar! 

☑ Make sure important vaccinations and health exams are up to date. Learn more about required vaccinations and other important health information by visiting the district's health services page by clicking here.

☑ Avoid unnecessary absences by scheduling travel plans outside of school hours. Consistent attendance is critical to a successful education. We will enforce the attendance policy as written in our student handbooks. Students should stay home from school when they are sick with a contagious illness.
